The NAB Interviews: 道格·詹森 on the 索尼pmw - 160 and PMW-200

索尼pmw - 160
肖恩: We’re looking at the 索尼pmw - 160 (below). What can you tell me about this camera?
道格: This camera’s been out since summer of 2012, but it wasn’t even on the floor at NAB last year. And it’s kind of a smaller brother to the PMW-200, which we’ll talk about in a minute. The PMW-160 has 3 1/3” CMOS sensors, and a pretty nice lens on it that goes wider and tighter than the PMW-200. And that’s really why I think most people would purchase the 160 over a 200--because of the different focal lengths of the lens.

肖恩: This is a 20X Sony G Series lens, so it’s very good quality, very sharp, looks great. What’s the 记录媒体 and what that are available?
道格: The 记录媒体 is your standard SxS cards that have been used on Sony cameras since 2007. It’s got two card slots on it, and it’ll do 50Mb 4:2:2. So this is a step up from the EX1 and even many of the other Sony SxS camcorders, to be able to do that 50Mb 4:2:2, which a lot of broadcasters have of set as the standard broadcast format that you need to have today.
